- v5.1.2iOS
After a long hiatus, we're back with a brand new KilnHelper version. A lot of work has gone into modernising the app, but the user-visible highlights are: * Premium functionality now makes sense across all three platforms - IOS, Android, and the web companion app. Buy a subscription from either the App Store or Google Play store, and you can use the functionality everywhere. * The web application is much more capable now - it can do just about everything that the main mobile apps can do. * Logins make more sense, too - not only can you 'sign in with Google' on an IOS device, but you can now 'sign in with Apple' on an Android one. * We've overhauled the visuals a bit. Graphs are newer, buttons look better, the picture carousel is less ugly, and the bottom tab items now use native controls, so they feel more like they belong on both IOS and Android. And as always, we've also crushed a bunch of bugs. Update 5.1.2: ... Including fixes for another two that popped up this morning!

- v1.0.0Android
Initial release
- v4.8.4iOS
* Updated libraries to fix a nasty problem that was stopping Sign In With Apple from working. * Various bug fixes, including a couple of ugly crashes, and one major piece of confusion when converting projects between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- v4.7.8iOS
* Projects now display warnings if it sees you doing things that aren't sensible (that includes things like suspiciously high process temperatures, or making a project with differing glass types, or using cadmium-containing glass at temperatures likely to make it opalize) * Fixed at least one crashing bug. * Added more status values for projects. * Added more functionality to the weight calculator.
- v4.6.26iOS
* Improved layup, particularly for tablets in Landscape mode * Process Temperature Bands are selectable in Landscape mode on tablets * Price Bands for Bullseye & Oceanside (Spectrum) glass in Materials, Inventory and Colour Wheel * Searching in Favourite Firings, if you've got too many * General Bug Squashing * A Glass Weight calculator
- v4.6.19iOS
Minor fix up. Updated Bullseye colour database to June 2021 release.
- v4.6.18iOS
New Stuff: * Inventory Management (Premium Feature) * Colour Wheel for Bullseye Glass (Premium Feature) * More attractive 'Grid View' for projects * Much better photo display carousel * Additional Kiln Types * Bugs Squashed * Massively upgraded the internals. Much smaller bundle sizes, much more modern implementation.
- v4.5.20iOS
* Sharing of your projects with other people, social media, or anywhere else you like. Sharing with other KilnHelper users will let them save their own copy, but non KilnHelper users can view it on the web interface. * Copying of Projects: If you frequently base your last project on something you've done before, you'll love this. Make a copy of your last project, and use it as a starting point for your next work of art! * Dark Mode: Is the all-white background hurting your eyes? Kilnhelper now respects your phone's settings, and if you're in dark mode, then it's a black background for you. * Support for Intelligent Kiln controllers: Starting with the Bartlett Instruments controller, KilnHelper can now tell you the status of your kiln, including temperature, and the programme step that it's on. It will even draw you graphs of the program that’s currently loaded in the kiln controller! * Additional Project fields for commercial use: If you sell your pieces, then we'll also hold on to additional information about the pieces to save you having to track the information elsewhere. Currently there are fields for Cost of Materials, Firings, Sale Prices, Labour Costs, who it was sold to, and the 'Status' of the piece. If you guys still need more, then get in touch! * Printing Improvements. You've always been able to print, but it used to look pretty horrible. Layout is much improved now. * More Kiln Types: Woodrow Kilns now have a place in the kiln list. * 'Swipeable' shortcuts on the Project List screen. If you want to delete or copy a project - you can swipe to the left on any project entry on the main list page, and some shortcut buttons will turn up to help you. And as always... a whole bunch of quality of life improvements and squashed bugs.
- v4.2.9iOS
Materials Handling Keep track of the materials used to make your projects, including frit, stringers and sheet glass. Kilnhelper understands the complete catalogue of both Bullseye and Oceanside glass, and allows you to enter other glass types manually, should you wish. Glass Reactions For Bullseye and Oceanside projects, KilnHelper will flag any reactive glasses, and warn you if there is likely to be a reaction when you fire your piece. Firing Graph Annotations For Bullseye, Spectrum, Baoli, or Wissmach glass projects, the firing graphs will highlight appropriate temperature ranges. For example, a full fuse program might highlight the full fuse temperature range, as well as the anneal range. Photo Sharing You can now share a photo from your projects. Click share, and you can send the photo as an email, or message, or print it. Export Firing Schedules for Nabertherm Kilns If you've got a Nabertherm kiln with a 400 series controller, they can import firing schedules from a USB stick. KilnHelper can export schedules in the appropriate format to be imported. No more adjusting the last programme you used, or making errors entering your firings! New Kiln Types By popular request, Cromartie kilns are now available for selection. Printing Improvements Printing out your projects now includes materials, if you specified them. Bug Fixes As always... more bugs squashed.
- v3.9.3iOS
* Support for dimensions in Inches for our friends across the Altantic * Support for Printing out of Projects. * Support for Kiln controllers that you specify a duration for, rather than a destination temperature. At the moment, you still specify segments in the traditional method, but it will output firing schedules in the new format if the kiln record says so. * Another kiln type - 'Cress' * Support dates for firings * Don't insist on widths and heights being specified for pieces, if that isn't important to you * General tidy-up - screen titles make more sense now, and it's more obvious that you can drag segments and firings around to re-order them.
- v3.6.0iOS
Bug fix release. Squashed a nasty one preventing creating new records!
- v3.4.0iOS
Improved handling of Fahrenheit and Celsius templates. Better disclosure of Privacy information, required because of use of Expo managed framework.
