The text tool now properly keeps the drawn text on screen when done typing on macOS 10.14 and later.

Clicking the Erase button on the tools palette now ends any open text drawing and erases that text as well.

The pen tool now always draws smoothly from the very beginning instead of having a slight delay upon starting that resulted in a short straight line being added to the beginning of your drawing.

Fixed File > Save As and File > Save Selection As commands to not include the file chooser in the image when using the Screenshot background.

Fixed loading Hot Key info which fixes the preferences window display regression in v1.6.1.  Users may need to remap their hot key in the preferences window.

We've modernized the code of the application and built it with the latest version of Xcode.  In the process we fixed a few minor memory leaks.

+ Can use keyboard +/- to adjust width of drawing tools.
+ Can use keyboard Option +/- to adjust opacity of drawing tools.
+ Fixed Desktop Drawing mode on Mac OS X v10.7 (Lion).

Note: If you experience a Hash Mismatch error when trying to update from Ultimate Pen v1.5 Apple recommends that you delete the App from your computer (should be in the Applications folder) and then launch the App Store and re-install the app.  If that does not resolve the issue contact Apple Support directly.
