New Translation
The NKJV is now available as an option to memorize!

Creeds & Catechisms
We now support memorizing some of the great creeds and catechisms of the faith (e.g. Apostles' Creed, Nicene, Westminster, and more!). If you would like to see a creed or catechism added (whether for personal edification or for study) please let us know at support@getverses.com!

New Memory Game! Speak Out (beta)
A much requested game is now here! For the Recall game you can now say a passage out loud in addition to playing the Type Out game. This feature is still in beta, so you may find it occasionally misses a word or pauses - please let us know what you think at support@getverses.com!

Light Mode
Light Mode styling is now available to Verses Pro members. You can change your selection in settings to see which style you prefer.

Zen Mode
With Zen Mode you can hide your memory health (the inner circles) and focus on making progress learning new content. Zen Mode is available to Verses Pro members and can be changed in your settings screen.

Groups
You can now gather your collections and passages into groups with friends, family, significant others, and more. View each others' progress and memory health in a single place.

Streaks
Keep track of your memorizing habits by seeing how many days in a row you've spent at least 5 minutes memorizing and how many weeks in a row you've completed at least one day.

Other Improvements
- Completely new backend with increased reliability
- Significantly higher limits on the number of friends in groups (and collections)
- Faster real-time data so you can watch your friends' progress and health change in real time
- When you add a collection you will now be subscribed to edits and changes on that collection (we call it "following" a collection)
- One of of our most requested features is here...you can change your profile picture! Just go to settings and you can upload your own image.
- Upgraded support availability - we're increasing our focus on quick responses to support requests. You can request support directly from the settings screen in the app.

With this release Verses is moving to an annual members model to help support faster improvements to the app.

You can join Verses Basic for $4.99/year and gain access to unlimited memorizing in all translations, or Verses Pro for $9.99/year to add access to Creeds & Catechisms, Light Mode, and Zen Mode (with more to come).

As a thank you to users who have helped make Verses possible over the last 4 years, we are offering an option to try either membership for the first year free. And, of course, you will always have access to any purchases you made previously on your Apple ID.

- "Listen" game will now play sound even if the mute switch is on.
- Inviting a friend to a collection from contacts is fixed.
- Inviting a friend to a collection via Facebook is fixed (both users need to have this update).
- The link sent in an invitation email now properly opens the app and displays the collection invitation (if the link sends you from Safari to the App Store when you already have the app, simply navigate back to Safari to open Verses directly).

- Fixed an issue in "Type Out" where dashes in a passage would prevent progress.

1) Accepting a Collection invite now successfully adds you to that Collection.
2) Collection invitation emails no longer open in the App Store even if you have Verses installed.
