- v3.2.1iOS
* Fix: Sandboxing issue with QuickCursor * Fix: Sandboxing issue when changing between plain text and rich text * Fix: Crash when using Shift Left in some circumstances
- v3.2iOS
NOTE: There's an issue with App Store sandboxing which prevents you from changing a file's type, such as switching from plain text to rich text, and resaving the same file. The workaround until we can fix this is to duplicate and save as a new file. This can also affect QuickCursor. Temporary alternative: You can download a 30-day trial of WriteRoom from our website, which doesn't have this issue. Sorry for any trouble this caused. * RTF Behavior: Opening rich text documents in WriteRoom will display in the theme's colors, but font and actual text color settings are not overwritten unless manually changed by you * Added: Toggle to view rich text documents with their actual text color * Fixed: Text color always saved as black in rich text documents * Fixed: Scroll-to-top on find and replace * Fixed: Cases which could cause typing lag * Fixed: Disabling Typewriter scrolling would also disable auto-indent * Enabled sandboxing
- v3.1iOS
* Added: Text scaling for themes (View menu > Scale) * Added: Kerning settings now saved in themes (Format menu > Font > Kern) * Fixed: Text color did not change to match theme when converting plain text to rich text * Fixed: Line spacing issue in rich text documents * Removed: Unused "Edits Length" column from session tracker csv * Theme Text Behavior: When using rich text, themes will not change existing font or color properties of your text. For plain text, themes will change these based on theme presets.
- v3.0.1iOS
• Added link to 'Downloadable More Themes...' in Themes menu. • 'Show Formatting Toolbar' displays properly in all rich text documents. • Works better with QuickCursor, no untitled window opened, and always sends text back. • Documents ending in .html (and other extensions) are no longer changed to .txt on save. • 'File > Open New Windows...' setting is now global instead of associated with current theme. • 'Select Word' command works more like TextMate, selecting whitespace when appropriate. • Changed 'Select Paragraph' to use Shift-Command-L keyboard shortcut. Version 3.0 BUILT FOR LION - WriteRoom has been rewritten to support OS X Lion. Full screen, scrollbars, autosave, and auto-resume are all what you expect from a native Lion app. CREATE AND SHARE THEMES - WriteRoom makes it easier than ever to set up your favorite look, and now you can share your themes with others. See the Window > Themes menu. TRACK YOUR WRITING PROGRESS - WriteRoom adds optional session tracking and logging. Track your word counts and automatically log them to a spreadsheet. See the File > Session menu. • Faster handling of large documents. • Live session counts, reading time, and more. • Shift line up, down, left, and right commands. • Select word, sentence, and paragraph commands. • OS X Lion style and single screen style full screen modes. • Choose background images, paper textures, and typing sounds.

- v2.5.1iOS
• Fixed crash that sometimes occurred when selecting and editing text in documents using the 'wrap to page' feature. • Fixed problem where font changes aren't persistent in a plain text document when switching between full screen and normal view. • Improved typing speed when in full screen mode. I haven't been able to really reproduce this problem, but I changed a few things that might help. Please let me know in the forums if it really does help.
