The app has been redesigned to make it easier to use and more intuitive, ranging from the YubiKey device selector, to more helpful error messages and hints for what to do next and more. In order to improve overall accessibility, key UI elements such as font sizes, color contrast, screen reader support and more have been enhanced to ensure a completely delightful experience for all our users. Given the full fledged keyboard and other capabilities available on a desktop, this version of the app does offer a few additional capabilities beyond the mobile version and offers management functionality for turning on and off different features of the YubiKey, as well as FIDO management, such as setting/changing the PIN, enrolling fingerprints for YubiKey Bio Series keys, and more. This new version runs on an ARM-based Mac without the use of Rosetta, and can also run on an Intel-based Mac.
