“Recent user voice shows a excited sentiment. Users appreciate nostalgic appeal and storytelling and art style and visuals, but report dissatisfying ending and forced cutscenes and dialogue.”
What Users Love
The game immediately puts you back in the post-final scene of Monkey Island 2 and kicks off from there.
It was entertaining, full of nostalgia, and made me laugh when I sorely needed to do so.
Beautiful artwork, highly recommend
The artwork alone makes this a must play.
The tip book is a great addition as well bc mindlessly looking for walkthroughs hints on the web gets annoying
It’s better than a crowdsourced wiki, because you know we all have our distractions and moments of weakness.
Pain Points
The ending is just nonsense. It makes no sense in regard to the storyline at all.
The story's ending spits in the face of fans for some deconstructionist message.
Long non-skippable credits, long conversations (somewhat skippable, but you have to keep on swiping down with 2 fingers to skip one spoken sentence, totally annoying).
Subjecting your audience to be forced to watch the opening credits is asinine.
