“Recent user voice shows a mixed sentiment. Users appreciate value of +ev betting data and ease of line shopping, but report subscription and billing issues and data accuracy and latency.”
What Users Love
Optimal Bet is the first app I’ve used that actually feels built for people who want to bet smarter long term.
It makes it much easier to spot value by comparing odds and highlighting sharp outlier picks instead of relying on guesswork.
Seems very easy to find the bets with a real ev and is very easy to line shop.
The focus on line shopping, closing line value, and market comparison is what professionals care about.
Pain Points
Now it’s basically unusable without spending $30 a month which is very ridiculous.
I cancelled my annual account, yet I get an email every day telling me they weren’t able to charge my card.
Delayed lines that don't update. You think your getting ev, but it's actually the opposite due to the delay.
Lately the lines have been very stale for most of the other books and lines are long bumped by the time you get to the book.
