Version 2.1 of The Great White App includes several new features alongside bug fixes, performance and stability updates.

Some of the new features:

- Explore the previous locations of sharks point-by-point by activating their tracks and following the trail
- "Fast Facts" of sharks displayed in the menu
- A general facelift to the map design and interface
- A help menu with details on how to interact with the map
- "Last Seen" information more prominent
- Info on how shark locations are obtained displayed in several more locations to address a common misconception regarding "App not working! Sharks aren't moving!"
- Shark tag status added

After a forced hiatus following two extreme flood events, The Great White App 2.0 has arrived!

What's new:

- Map received a brand new look and feel.
- Major stability, performance and usability improvements to *all* app components
- New pages and screens added such as news, updates and help sections: see the latest info on each shark, where they're going and what they're doing
