As of this update, all food calories are displayed in red, yellow or green. Great for those who prefer the big picture and do not need a special diet strategy. This is made possible by calculating each product’s energy density, because the volume fills our stomachs, not the calories!

Additionally, we made lots of changes under the hood:

FoodCheck 3 is here and the moment you use it, it will feel unlike anything you used before! With a few simple letters, our search engine will recommend products to you. Find food with your perfect nutrition contents faster and easier than ever before. Details, colors - everything looks sharper, clearer and better on large iPhones. Of course, iPad is now also part of the FoodCheck family. It is vastly improved and amazingly simple at the same time – just give it a try!

This is a major upgrade since many users wanted more functionality.

So this is the same app as the full version, just the amount of data is limited which is available for download.

You can download about 300 random items from our extensive database, add products to your favorites, search through categories and add your own items.

You will not be able to keep any products though if you update to this version, but it's a lot more useful than the previous one!
