The latest major update triggered a severe negative reaction, causing the average rating to drop from 1.67 to 1.31 stars. Users report significant service disruption, including loss of access to business numbers and forced changes to billing methods. The migration process has effectively compromised core communication functionality for the user base.

The SmartLine service will end on 9/30/2024 and we'll be moving your SmartLine number to our upgraded messaging product, GoDaddy Conversations.  We'll notify you in the app when we're about to start the move for your number.  You can continue using SmartLine as normal during this transition and until the move is complete.

- If you purchased the SmartLine subscription via App Store, you may be prompted to provide missing information before we can move you.

- If you send text messages, register your business immediately when prompted in the app.  This will help ensure you’ll able to text when you move over to GoDaddy Conversations. This is due to an industry wide effort by U.S. mobile carriers (Verizon, AT&T, & T-Mobile) to help reduce unwanted spam messages. You are required to register your business number to send text messages on their platforms.
